Datenschutzerklärung

Stand: November 2026

1. Verantwortlicher

Verantwortlich im Sinne der DSGVO ist The Oracle's Cut, an independent studio, Mátyás Molnár (Einzelunternehmer), c/o POSTFLEX PFX-092-327, Emsdettener Str. 10, 48268 Greven (Service-Anschrift, bitte keine Pakete). E-Mail: mmfamaibiz@gmail.com · Kontaktformular: mmfamai.com/oraclescut/contact. Einen Datenschutzbeauftragten haben wir nicht benannt. Weitere Angaben finden Sie im Impressum.

Keine Cookies, keine Tracker.

4. Unsere Profile in sozialen Netzwerken

Übermittlung in Drittländer.

Privacy notice

As of November 2026

This notice tells you, under Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which personal data we process when you visit our website, write to us, use our social media profiles or comment on our videos. The German text above (“Datenschutzerklärung”) is the original; this is the English version. The section “Oracle's Cut Publisher” at the very top concerns only a private tool of the operator (Google sign-in) and is unchanged.

1. Controller

The controller under the GDPR is The Oracle's Cut, an independent studio, Mátyás Molnár (sole trader), c/o POSTFLEX PFX-092-327, Emsdettener Str. 10, 48268 Greven, Germany (service address, please send no parcels). E-mail: mmfamaibiz@gmail.com · contact form: mmfamai.com/oraclescut/contact. We have not appointed a data protection officer. More details are in the Impressum (legal notice).

2. This website

This notice covers mmfamai.com/oraclescut and theoraclescut.com.

Hosting and server access data. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical request data (date and time, page requested, status code, amount of data, browser type, referring address) to deliver the page, keep it running and fend off attacks. Cloudflare acts as our processor under Art. 28 GDPR on the basis of its Data Processing Addendum. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a secure and error-free website. We run no visitor statistics ourselves and do not analyse this data. How long Cloudflare keeps technical logs is decided by Cloudflare for the purposes of operation and security (see the Cloudflare privacy policy).

Browser error reports. The site's responses carry a header (“Network Error Logging”) that asks supporting browsers to send Cloudflare a short error report (IP address, time, type of error) when a connection fails. Successful visits are not reported. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (detecting and fixing connection problems).

No cookies, no trackers. The website sets no cookies and neither stores anything on your device nor reads anything from it. It loads no scripts, fonts, maps, video players, advertising or analytics from third parties; the fonts are served from the same website. Consent under § 25 TDDDG (the German cookie rule) is therefore not needed.

Links to platforms. Links to YouTube and our other profiles are plain links. No data goes to the platform until you click; after that its own privacy policy applies (see section 4).

3. E-mail and contact form

Which data. If you e-mail us or use the contact form, we process your e-mail address, your name (optional in the form), the content of your message and the technical details of the e-mail. Apart from the IP address used for the request limit described below, the form collects nothing else.

How the form works. The form sends the three fields to a small function on our Cloudflare-hosted website, which turns them into one e-mail (sender form@mmfamai.com) to our mailbox and delivers it through Cloudflare's e-mail service. The website does not store the message in a database or in logs of its own. To keep out spam, the form has a hidden field and a request limit that briefly counts your IP address. The form sets no cookies and uses no CAPTCHA or third-party script.

Recipients. Cloudflare (transmission, processor) and Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, as the provider of our mailbox (Gmail); Google may also process data in the USA (see sections 2 and 4).

Purpose, legal basis, retention. We use the data only to answer your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps (for example a business enquiry), otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in answering questions and corrections from viewers). We delete your message once the matter is closed, at the latest six months afterwards. Statutory retention duties (for example for business letters, § 257 HGB, § 147 AO) remain unaffected. Providing your data is voluntary; without an e-mail address we cannot reply.

4. Our social media profiles

We run profiles on YouTube, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, TikTok, X, Bluesky and Pinterest (exact addresses are in the Impressum under “Geltungsbereich”). When you visit a profile or interact with our posts (watch, subscribe, like, comment, send a message), the platform processes your data, often with cookies and device identifiers, partly even if you have no account there, and for its own purposes such as advertising and profiling. We have only limited influence on this. The platform itself is responsible for that processing:

It is best to exercise your rights against the platform (access, erasure and others) directly there, because only the platform has access to all the data.

Our processing. On the platforms we see the statistics they give us (for example views, reach, age groups and regions in aggregated form) as well as public comments and messages to us (see section 5). We cannot identify individual visitors from the statistics. Purpose: publicity for our videos and improving our content; legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Messages you send us through a platform are treated like e-mails (section 3).

Joint controllership with Meta (Art. 26 GDPR). For our Facebook Page, Meta provides “Page Insights”, aggregated statistics about visitors to the Page and their interactions. In case C-210/16 (Wirtschaftsakademie Schleswig-Holstein) the Court of Justice of the European Union held on 5 June 2018 that the administrator of a Facebook fan page is jointly responsible with Facebook for the processing of data of the page's visitors, because by defining parameters (such as target audience and objectives) it takes part in deciding the purposes and means of processing (Court press release No 81/18). We therefore treat the Facebook Page and comparable statistics functions of Instagram and Threads as joint controllership with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. For the Facebook Page, Meta's “Page Insights Controller Addendum” applies (facebook.com/legal/terms/page_controller_addendum; information on Insights data: facebook.com/legal/terms/information_about_page_insights_data). In essence: Meta carries the primary responsibility for processing Insights data and takes over the GDPR duties for that data, in particular informing data subjects and handling data subject rights; we do not decide how Meta processes that data and pass requests about it on to Meta. Irrespective of this, under Art. 26(3) GDPR you can exercise your rights against each of the controllers, including us. Contact at Meta: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland (data protection contact via the policy linked above). Whether other platforms (for example YouTube) also create joint controllership with us is not conclusively settled in law; we inform you as a precaution and refer to the platforms' own information.

Transfers to third countries. The platforms also process data in the USA and other countries outside the EU. Depending on the provider, the basis is the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795) and/or the EU standard contractual clauses (Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914); details are in the privacy policies linked above.

5. Comments on our channels (community moderation)

We read the public comments under our videos to answer questions and corrections, to spot spam and unlawful content and to protect the community. At present this is done for YouTube through the platform's official interface (YouTube Data API); on the other platforms we read comments only in the app itself. The section “Oracle's Cut Publisher” at the top describes the Google sign-in and the channel statistics; reading public comments through the same interface is described additionally in this section 5.

Which data, from where. Comment text, the commenter's public display name (channel name), comment ID, time and the video concerned. We add a classification (for example question, praise, criticism, spam) and, where applicable, a draft reply. The source is your public comment on the platform (Art. 14(2)(f) GDPR). We do not search comments for sensitive information.

How. Processing runs on the operator's own computer. A locally run AI language model sorts the comments and drafts replies; comment texts are not sent to external AI services for this. A reply is published only after the operator has approved it personally. There is no solely automated decision with legal or similarly significant effect on you (Art. 22 GDPR). Comments with legal threats, insults or spam get no draft reply and are put before the operator, who can hold them for review on the platform, release them, reject them or block the sender.

Recipients. For approval, the system sends the operator excerpts (name, shortened comment text, draft reply) as a Telegram message. Telegram Messenger Inc. is the recipient in that respect; in its privacy policy Telegram names group companies in the British Virgin Islands and Dubai and says it secures such transfers with EU standard contractual clauses. The comments themselves stay with the operator; nothing is sold or passed on to anyone else.

Legal basis. Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the exchange with our viewers, the quality of our content and protecting the channel and community from spam and unlawful content. Your comment is public and meant to be read by the channel operator; you can object to the processing (section 6).

Retention. We delete comment text, name and draft reply at the latest 30 days after the comment arrived; comments held for review stay in the operator's review list for at most 8 days. After that, for another 30 days only a short record without name and without text remains (comment ID, classification, times, checksum of the text), then that is deleted too. Excerpts in Telegram messages stay in the operator's chat history until the operator deletes them (or a Telegram auto-delete timer applies). On the platform your comment stays until you or the platform delete it.

6. Your rights

You have the right against us to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), notification of recipients (Art. 19) and data portability (Art. 20). Write to mmfamaibiz@gmail.com or use the contact form; we answer within one month. Where we process data on the basis of your consent you may withdraw it at any time; on this website and in the processes described we do not ask for consent.

Right to object under Art. 21 GDPR. You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to processing of your data that is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We will then stop processing the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

7. Complaints to a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us, for private bodies in Bavaria, is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany (postal address: Postfach 1349, 91504 Ansbach), telephone +49 981 180093-0, www.lda.bayern.de; complaint form: lda.bayern.de/de/beschwerde.html.

8. Changes

We update this notice when our processes or the law change (for example if we introduce a newsletter or connect more platforms). The version published here applies.
